Kindergarten Conversations

I love asking Adele about her day at school when I pick her up in the afternoon. I know that she won’t always be so happily chatty at the end of the day, so I’m appreciative of it while it lasts. Today this is what made me laugh the most:

Me: What did you do today?

Adele: We started the day with free play.

Me: What did you choose to play with?

Adele: Playdough.

Me: That’s good. I know how much you love playdough.

Adele: Yes, but there were only boys playing with playdough. And they tried to tell me that it was poop. But I said, NOPE!
